Glass canoes and coastal foraging on Svelmø during Geopark Days.

During the Geopark Days in Faaborg, this special tour gives you an exceptional nature experience in The South Funen Archipelago. Glass canoes, foraging, fresh local ingredients, and stories of nature and culture come together in an immersive adventure for nature lovers who want to get close to life above and below the water.

The Experience

Starting at Bittenhus by Nakkebølle Fjord, we head out in glass canoes, allowing a clear view into the vibrant underwater world. Along the way, a nature guide from Trente Mølle shares insights into local wildlife and cultural history as we glide quietly towards Svelmø.

Foraging and Outdoor Cooking

On Svelmø, we gather wild coastal herbs, catch shore crabs for a crab bisque, and maybe even add a garfish if luck is on our side. Together, we prepare a delicious outdoor meal and enjoy the natural flavours of the island.
