Sønderhjørne - Havørred Fyn Hotspot nr. 87
The Sønderhjørne stone is perhaps Funen's most famous sea trout spot, but the entire stretch up towards Bøjden offers strong fishing. A legendary place where many adventures have begun - and still do.

One of the great coastal classics of Funen. Some of the island's first coastal fishermen have made their mark here.
Just off the tip - the southwesternmost point - lies the enormous Sønderhjørne stone, just a solid fly-cast from land. It must be described as Funen's most famous stone, if you ask a sea trout fisherman. Because it is precisely around it that many good sea trout adventures have begun.
Of course, you should also try your luck here. However, the stone probably attracts more fishermen than fish, because the sea trout bite can fall anywhere on the long stretch from Sønderhjørne and past Knæet - the name of the exciting stone ornament that can be clearly seen north of Sønderhjørne - and further all the way up to Bøjden Ferry Port.
Best wind direction: NE - SE.
