Nab - Havørred Fyn Hotspot nr. 76

This superb spot attracts many fish, especially in winter. Start by wade fishing in the bay just below the parking area near the summer houses. But the prominent point with the small cliff at the end of the bay – slightly to the left – will surely tempt you. Here you’ll find sandy patches and seaweed clumps scattered across the bottom, making it look like a leopard’s skin. On this so-called “leopard bottom,” there’s plenty of food, especially fjord shrimp, which lure sea trout. A bit further south lies the small island Kidholm – not to be confused with the island of the same name near Tåsinge. You can easily wade out to it and fish from there. Focus on the northern end down to the island’s small, solitary summer house. Best wind direction: northeast to southeast.
