Knolden - Havørred Fyn Hotspot nr. 83
With easy parking and fish right at your feet, Knolden is an ideal spot for both new and experienced coastal fishermen. Seaweed belts and a varied bottom provide good chances all along the coast.
When you park your car at Knolden, you are tempted to immediately walk the short kilometer south, out to the rocky coast in front of the large cliff, which can be seen from the parking lot. But don't worry - there are a lot of fish caught in the only 10-15 meter wide seaweed belt that runs along the land just below where you have parked.
Stay on land and fish your way out towards the cliff with very light gear - long casts are a waste of time in the first part. At the cliff, the seaweed belt gradually becomes wider, and you can advantageously switch to slightly longer-range gear.
You may also be tempted to wade out a little, but always remember to cast a few casts along the coast before moving into the water.
