Faaborg Winter Days return in 2027
Faaborg Winter Days takes place every year at the end of January, when Faaborg and the South Funen Archipelago provide the setting for an atmospheric winter weekend filled with wellbeing, gastronomy, culture and great experiences.
In 2027, Faaborg will host the World Cup in Ice Swimming for the first time. Together with the Danish Championships in Ice Swimming at Faaborg Harbour, the events invite both participants and spectators to get up close to the thrill of cold-water swimming. Registration for both the World Cup and the Danish Championships opens on 15 September 2026.
But Faaborg Winter Days is about much more than cold water. Look forward to guided sauna sessions and winter walks through the South Funen landscape, inspiring talks, cultural experiences and gastronomy as Faaborg’s restaurants invite you to enjoy special winter experiences. In 2027, the Banff Mountain Film Festival will also return to Faaborg.
