SKOVHUGGEREN - Mountain Bike trail

SKOVHUGGEREN is a mountain bike area located in the forests around Hvidkilde Gods near Svendborg on Funen. The trail network opened in 2016 and has since been expanded with new sections and facilities. Today, the area is known for its hand-built singletracks and varied trails for different skill levels.

The trail system includes around 17 km of marked mountain bike trails through hilly forest terrain. Approximately 12 km are built as blue flow trails focused on smooth turns, speed and optional technical features along the route. In addition, there are around 3 km of red trails with larger jumps, drops and more technical sections. The downhill area includes black and orange lines with rock gardens, North Shore elements and advanced descents.

The trails are designed with good drainage and year-round riding in mind, making the area suitable in different weather conditions throughout the year. Facilities at the trailhead include bike wash, repair station, drinking water, charging points, multi-toilet and a shelter with fire pit. Recommended parking is available at “Udsigten” on Alpevej with access to the trail area.

SKOVHUGGEREN is operated as a non-profit association in cooperation with Hvidkilde Gods. Memberships and day passes support maintenance and the continued development of the trail network.
