Artists have always been attracted to the region because of the scenery and the special light, and in the early 20th century, the Funen Painters put South Fyn firmly on the art map. Sculptures and small shops selling glass, ceramics, handicrafts and unique items greet you on the streets, alleys and surrounding area.

Ceramist and Painter Ulf Nielsen. Born 1950 in Birkerød. Educated at the School of Arts and Crafts, Copenhagen. Has worked at several ceramical workshops, among others in Paris for ½ a year.
