Faaborg Winter Days return in 2027

Faaborg Winter Days take place every year in late January. In 2027, we once again invite you to experience winter in Denmark at its most beautiful – where the Nordic cold meets warmth, wellbeing and refined gastronomy.

Set in Faaborg and along the South Funen Archipelago, Faaborg Winter Days offer authentic Nordic winter experiences. Enjoy sauna rituals and hot wilderness baths with views of the sea, peaceful winter walks through the South Funen landscape, and exceptional culinary experiences where the town’s best restaurants present special winter menus inspired by the season.

Faaborg Winter Days are also host to the Danish Championships in Ice Swimming, held at Faaborg Harbour. Here, athletes and spectators gather for a powerful and atmospheric celebration of cold-water culture, with the archipelago as a dramatic winter backdrop.

Faaborg Winter Days are for those seeking genuine Nordic experiences – where nature, wellbeing, culture and gastronomy come together in a calm, refined and distinctly northern winter atmosphere.
We look forward to welcoming you again in 2027.
