Postnord Danmark Rundt 2026 - Bike race in Faaborg

On 1 August 2026, Faaborg will be the finish town of PostNord Danmark Rundt, inviting the entire town to a day of cycling, entertainment and a festive atmosphere.

Experience Denmark’s biggest stage race up close as the peloton rolls into Faaborg on Saturday, 1 August. The day offers activities for both children and adults, including cycling races, cycling bingo and live music on Torvet (the Town Square).   At Banegårdspladsen, next to Helios Biograf og Kulturhus, you can follow the exciting finale as the riders cross the finish line.   A large number of visitors are expected during the event, so we recommend arriving early and allowing extra time for traffic in and around the town.

Programme for the Day

• 09:00 – The festivities begin at Torvet. Follow the race on the big screen.
• 10:00–10:50 – Children’s cycling race “Klokketårnet Rundt”, starting at Torvet (check-in from 09:00–10:00).
• 11:30–12:00 – Cycling bingo with Henrik Poulsen at Torvet. Limited to 75 participants. Free of charge.
• 13:00 – Social Ride starting from Torvet. Ride the 14 km circuit three times.
• 13:00–15:00 – Live music at Torvet: Hit The Dancefloor.
• 15:30 – Big-screen coverage and race commentary at the finish area near Helios.
• Approx. 16:30 – The riders pass the finish line for the first time and begin the final three laps.
• Approx. 17:45 – The first riders are expected to finish.
• 19:00–21:00 – Live music at Torvet: Mojo Frost Trio.
