Programme of the day
10:00: The ferry to Avernakø departs from Faaborg Harbour, Kanalvej 13, 5600 Faaborg.
11:10: Arrival and welcome at Avernakø Harbour. A guided walk on the island follows. Along the way, we experience the island’s fantastic nature while the guide shares stories about island life in 2025, the local wildlife, history and main sights. We also visit the island’s church. The walk covers approximately 5.5 km.
13:15: Enjoy a Danish lunch buffet with classic dishes such as: “tarteletter”, herring and eggs, apple pork, warm liver pâté and a selection of cold cuts. After lunch, coffee and cookies are served, all homemade with an island touch.
14:40: It is time to make our way back to the harbour, where the ferry departs at 15:10.
