Grubbe Mølle near Faaborg in South Funen is a rare combination of a working watermill and a Dutch windmill. During visits and guided tours, both mills are demonstrated in operation, while the history of milling and local life unfolds.

Grubbe Mølle is a living heritage site where water and wind still power the machinery. The guided tour explains the technical details and the importance of mills in the South Funen countryside.

Guided tours

Guided tours of both the windmill and the watermill are available by appointment.
Prices:
  • Adults: DKK 100
  • Children under 12: Free
  • Minimum charge: DKK 500
    Duration: Approx. 2 hours

Opening hours

  • 1 June – 31 August: Open daily 11:00–16:00
  • Admission: DKK 50 (approx. €7)
  • Visits outside opening hours by appointment with Kirsten Jervelund, phone +45 30 61 47 40
Open additionally on the third Sunday of June for Danish Mill Day.
