Faaborg Røgeri Café is located right on the quay of Faaborg Harbour, with views of the South Funen Archipelago. The café serves freshly smoked fish from its own smokehouse every day. On the menu, you'll find hot-smoked salmon, homemade tuna salad and marinated herring. If you’d like to explore the beautiful South Funen landscape, the café also offers picnic baskets with freshly made sandwiches.
Seasonal atmosphere and events by the water
In addition to great food, Faaborg Røgeri Café offers a range of charming seasonal experiences. These include vintage car gatherings and the annual flea market, held during the summer months. You can also enjoy cold treats from the café’s ice cream kiosk.
Faaborg Winterdays 2026
The café is normally closed for winter and reopens at Easter, but for Faaborg Vinterdage, it opens for three special days in January filled with warmth and flavour. Enjoy fresh fish dishes in the café’s authentic setting or order your meal as take away – perfect for a winter walk in the South Funen countryside.
